City Council Swears In, Segatto Takes Over As Mayor

Former Mayor Pete Witkewitz passes the gavel to Mayor Jan Segatto

Earlier this month, the May 2021 Orient City Council meeting was called to order. The first order of business was installing new officials and re-elected officials.

Two City Council members, Marvin Mize and Lisa Fernandez, were re-elected for another term. Former Mayor, Pete Witkewitz, was installed as the newly elected Treasurer. And Jan Segatto, formerly on the City Council, was installed as Mayor.
